Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover who works from home, which means I have the flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve throughout the day. Whether your dog needs long walks to burn off energy or your senior cat just wants some quiet company while they nap, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their own home. I know that every pet is different, with their own unique quirks, needs, and personalities—and I take the time to get to know each one. I’ve cared for everything from zoomy puppies to wise old kitties, and I’m comfortable with medication, special diets, and pets who need a little extra patience or encouragement. I also have a soft spot for quirky behaviors—if your dog spins in circles before dinner or your cat insists on drinking from the faucet, I’m here for it. What sets me apart? I treat every pet like family, with personalized care, lots of love, and a healthy dose of silly voices to keep tails wagging and whiskers twitching.

Reviews

Erica was great - very communicative and thorough with our pup/house care items. Really appreciated her approach to taking care of our pups.

Erica was caring and attentive during her visits. She kept our kitties entertained and happy. She’s the best sitter we’ve ever had!

OMG! Look no farther. If you want a GREAT Rover experience then Erica is your girl. She gave updates, sent pics, helped in any way possible, communicated often and was very respectful of my home. My dogs literally looked like they took to her quickly- which they never do so this was a testament to her “vibe”. I will hire Erica any and every time I need a dog sitter and recommend you do the same! 10 ⭐️’s

Erica was really great with my cat. She snuggled her and pet her and they got along well. Erica sent lots of photos and videos showing me how my cat was doing. I would definitely recommend Erica.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep things consistent and comfortable while you're away. Unless instructed otherwise, I never do off-leash walks unless we're in a securely fenced area, and I always double-check leashes, harnesses, and gates for a secure fit and peace of mind. When entering and exiting your home, I’m extra mindful of potential escape artists—I never leave doors open and will follow any guidelines you have in place to keep curious pets safely indoors. I’m also used to living with food-motivated sneaks, so it’s second nature for me to stash food safely away (microwave, high counter, pet-proof drawer—you name it!) even if I’m stepping away for a second. It helps keep your pet safe—and ensures I actually get to eat my snack. I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s boundaries, whether that means sticking to a strict feeding schedule, keeping them off the couch, or crating when needed. I’ll send periodic updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and cared for. I also take the responsibility of being in your home seriously—any key, code, or access method you provide will be kept secure, and I’ll make sure everything is locked up safely when I leave.
Information Erica C. would like to know about your pet
I always want to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable, so the more I can know ahead of time, the better! It’s helpful to know things like: • Their usual routine (feeding times, walks, playtime, etc.) • Any medical needs, allergies, or medications • Where their food, treats, toys, water bowl, and medications are kept • Behavioral quirks—are they shy, reactive on walks, or afraid of loud noises? • How they are with strangers, kids, or other animals • What comforts them if they get anxious • Where they’re allowed in the house (furniture, beds, off-limits rooms) • And of course—any little habits or preferences that make them them I want to care for your pet the same way you would, so don’t hesitate to share the details, big or small. It all helps me give them the best care possible!
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I try to match their energy and preferences to make sure they feel comfortable and entertained. For dogs, a typical day might include a nice walk (or a long one if they’re high-energy), some playtime with their favorite toys, and lots of belly rubs or couch cuddles. If they’re into games, we might play fetch, tug-of-war, or do a little training reinforcement for fun and mental stimulation. For cats, we might start with a calm visit and a slow introduction (especially for the shy ones), followed by some bird-watching at the window, laser pointer chases, or batting around toys for those sudden bursts of zoomies. I’ll keep them company while I work, and we might even watch a little Cat TV together if they’re into it. Throughout the day, I make sure their routines stay on track—feeding, potty breaks, medications if needed—and give them plenty of love and attention in the process. My goal is always to keep them happy, safe, and relaxed until you’re back.

Availability
I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule, which means I can easily fit pet care into my day. I’m happy to stop by for visits, walks, or playtime—and if needed, I can even work from your home to keep your pets company. I do have some after-work activities, but I’m great at planning around them to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. I’m also available for overnights and weekends, so whether you’re heading out for a quick trip or a longer getaway, I’ve got you covered. Your pet’s comfort and care are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they get all the love, attention, and belly rubs (if they’re into that) while you’re away.
