I’ve worked and lived on a farm and cared for dogs, cats, turtles, & tortoises, chickens and goats. I have cared for numerous friends/neighbors/employers’ pets for extended periods of time while they were out of town starting as a teenager. I also previously cared for dogs while working on private boats, taking them to shore every morning and night and making sure their needs were met while at sea. I always have to say hi to every animal I see and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of animals. I pay attention to their behaviors/signs and notice both the obvious and subtle ways that they communicate their wants and needs. I love giving animals lots of time outside and mental stimulation whether that’s long hikes, playing search, training, mixing it up and finding what works well for each one individually. I’ve had dogs, cats and plants in my family all my life & I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am currently a mom to a 3 year old blue healer named Cliff who is very active and friendly!
