I live on a farm so I’ve spent my entire life around all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats, turtles/fish, to hamsters, rabbits and even cows and pigs. Growing up around animals like that really gives you an up and close lesson about what it takes to care for animals, as well as understanding animal behavior. I’ve had multiple dogs over my lifetime (Rest in Peace Blue, he was such a sweet and protective dog and was around me from the moment I came home from the hospital after being born.) Currently I have a dog (Beebo) and a cat (Sweetpea) and understand that many of you are looking for someone who has tried and true firsthand experience. I absolutely love animals and plan on become a veterinarian after I complete college. It’s about 8 years of schooling so much of what I earn here will go towards my classes/books etc. However more valuable than that is the time I get to spend with these amazing animals and give them the love and play that many of them crave so much, or the cuddles and scratch behind the ears that drives that they just can’t get enough of. TL/DR: I believe that my lengthy and firsthand experience along with my understanding of both behavioral attributes and body language gives me a higher chance of taking care of your pet to a higher standard than the average pet sitter.
