I have been personally looking after animals for 5 years now. I have helped train and grow a black lab puppy from 8 weeks old to a successful hunting dog. I also lived with a Blue Heeler mix and helped care for her regularly for my roommate with walking, going for runs, or taking her on hikes. I currently live in a house with my girlfriend and own a sweet, and playful German Shepherd-Lab mix named Journey! We have had him for about a year and have taught him as much as he has taught us about taking care of a rescue animal. We have regularly watched friends and relatives dogs at our house as Journey is a great friend to play with and is always up for fetch and chase in our fenced in backyard.
