Pet care experience
I am raising money for my wife to get a wheelchair ramp and cover other medical costs, and what better way than helping beloved pets? I have owned and trained (not a trainer professionally) dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and are familiar with reptiles and other large animal care. As an animal lover, I will take care of your furry family member be it boarding, sitting, walking, washing, nail clipping, house visits, whatever you need, and offer a bit of training for free when appropriate/able. I'll be sure to keep you updated, and I am not afraid of handling an emergency or mess. I have studied many methods of training and used them for many dogs, though I am not a certified trainer. I prefer using non-aggressive methods based on positive reinforcement and relationship training with some other styles customized for each dog. I also have a strong network of dog and cat experts and veterinarians to consult thanks to over a decade of rescue and volunteer work. We are always the house friends and family members rely on for their boarding and pet care support needs, so you can be sure we have the experience, care, and trust you look for.

Please let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs/anxiety. We are comfortable giving medication and injections/monitoring diabetes and other nontransmittable chronic conditions in pets. Please provide all the contact information and their regular vet. For boarding/sitting and day care, please provide proof of up to date vaccinations, check up, and deworming, as well as negative FIV/DIV/Parvo/transmittable illnesses done within the last 12 months (invoice, certificates, and/or letter from your vet). Toys, bedding, food, and comfort items should be provided for your family member. If you are working on training, let me know areas your pet struggles so I can do my best to reinforce them during the time I have with your pet(s).
A typical day
When we go on walks, I will make sure your pet gets exercise and stimulation through scent, play, training, and setting a pace comfortable for your pet. On drop ins, I will be sure to play with your pet and engage with them as suit their needs and likes. I would be happy to put on a television or radio for background noise if you are away for a while, clean up litter and other messes, and make sure the home is a comfortable temperature and condition.

I am available for weekdays and weekends for short and longer dropin and walk services, though I do not do overnight stays in your home.
