Pet care experience
Proud pet owner for over 20 years, with extensive experience caring for pups. I have rescued several dogs over the years and given them an amazing home. All of my dogs have lived long amazing lives under my care. I personally groom my own dogs, walk them daily (rain or shine), bathe them regularly and spend quality time scratching their bellies. If your dog is a integral part of your family, I am certain you want them to be well taken care of when you are away. I have been taking care of friends and family pets on weekends for many years, prior to Rover. My goal is to ensure that all of your pups needs are met while you take time away. During their visits, they will be exercised and loved.

Eric was great. Did a little meet & greet the day before I needed dog sitting. Eric was very flexible & understanding with my changing of time, more than once. My dog seemed to have enjoyed her time with Eric & his family & it appears she was well exercised. My boxer had been pretty mellow all evening. Thank you Eric!

I have a fenced backyard, live in a nice pet friendly neighborhood that provides a great place to walk any dog. I also live near a huge dog park that has a large and small dog section. Did I mention I am 5 minutes away from the American river trail?

Information Eric M. would like to know about your pet
I love all dogs but since I have kids and my own small dogs my preference would be to board small to mid size pups. As for check ins and house sitting, I am open to any size dogs since I am strong enough to handle the big guys. It would be nice to know about your dogs temperament ahead of time. Things like do certain things get him/her overly excited? Are they prone to running away? Are they fully potty trained? Are they used to jumping onto fuurniture to rest? Do they chew up things around the house? Etc...
A typical day
I can take your dog on a walk along the river or take them to the nearby dog park and throw the ball around for them. I can play tug of war with them if they are left with the appropriate toys. They will be fed at whatever time you instruct me to do so. My kids will provide plenty of belly rubs.

Availability
Unfortunately, I am back innthe office on the weekdays, not that we are all back to some normalcy. however, I am off weekends and I have summers, as well as holidays off. If I have no personal plans I would be glad to board or visit your dog. My typical workday ends at around 4pm so I am available after that time on weekdays.
