My wife Alexis and I have been taking care of dogs for several years now. We have two of our own (both rescues) that have been such a joy to have. We have really enjoyed hosting other dogs with us because ours love to run around our huge property and play with everyone! I am currently studying computer programming online, so have plenty of available time to care for other pets as I am generally home all day. We have a loving, laid back and happy home environment with Eric (myself), my wife Alexis (mom) and two dogs (Ryker, Indie). We have had Ryker for almost 4 years now. He came into Alexis' life when she saw him in the last kennel in the back of the adoption center. Ryker walked right up to the front of the kennel and pressed his body against it to say "pick me!" We have had Indie for almost a year, also from an adoption center. We had been searching the online pictures for a few weeks looking to bring a new friend home for Ryker. And one Saturday evening her picture popped up. We went to meet her the next day. Ryker and her instantly bonded and the rest is history! Both dogs are very friendly and loving. They are happy, well adjusted, and good tempered. Ryker has never met a stranger. Indie takes a few minutes to get comfortable around new dogs, but after 5 minutes she can't wait to play and have fun! We have a large property with a big fenced in area, so we are always outside playing and taking long walks. And we are all equally as happy to just lounge and cuddle on the couch together afternoon!
