Dog-gone Vacations

Pet care experience

Dogs are my passion, and the decision to become a dog sitter extraordinaire came after my buddy's paws left a lasting impression on my heart three years ago. While I'm not ready for a new permanent sidekick, I've embraced the role of being your pup's temporary pal. As your go-to dog sitter, your furry family member becomes an honorary member of my pack. Get ready for a dose of tailored attention, cozy cuddles, and some serious playtime. Dog sitting isn't just a gig for me; it's a way to fill the void my buddy left and spread joy to other furry friends. Living right next to St. Mary’s Park dog park and just a short drive to McLaren Park, the possibilities to keep your dog entertained are endless. Let's ensure your dog's stay is safe, loving, and fun. And I’ll be happy to send you pictures throughout our adventures!

Eric was responsive and gave timely updates. Ellie had a lot of fun hiking and going to the park. Thank you, Eric!

Eric and Bahar are lovely! They took such good care of Frieda while we were gone. It provided a lot of peace of mind. We got daily photo updates and they are very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely use them again in the future.

Unsettling experience and I won’t be back. Eric was not there for dropoff or pickup, despite me asking directly to meet in person. This means someone other than the sitter was watching my dog, contrary to Rover policy. Several other red flags at pickup; they’d removed Sophie’s harness and leashed directly to her collar (bad for old dogs, plus her collar was loose enough for her to slip out of), & the surprise presence of a big husky dog, when the profile says there are no dogs in the home, and no notice that there’d be another dog there. Several other small things were off too, indicative of lack of either experience or care. My dog is old and sweet and deeply nervous, and this experience made me realize I was too trusting with her safety this time around. I will say I got her back safely and she doesn’t seem affected.

Eric took wonderful care of our furry family member, Kobe. Kobe can be a little wary of new environments, but he thoroughly embraced the experience, actually running up the stairs after our initial meet and greet, to stay at Eric’s. Eric sent regular pictures and updates and you could see by the pics how much Kobe was enjoying his weekend getaway. We returned to a happy pup and I couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend Eric and we will definitely reach out to him the next time we go out of town. Give him a try - your pup will be well cared for and you will have zero worries while you are away from your furry friend.
