I would love to be there for your cat's daily needs and give you peace of mind while you are away :) As much as my husband and I would like to foster fail every cat we care for, we can't, so cat boarding is a way we can keep meeting all kinds of cats! In 2020, my husband and I moved to a pet-allowed home. Since then, we fostered 7 cats and adopted 1, our very own Sally the calico! We have fostered cats from Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue, and also CTRS (Cat Therapy and Rescue Society). In my profession, I work as a mental health worker for youth in live-in treatment. I am mindful of my energy and my approach to animals, inviting them and letting them warm up to me. I have seen at work and at home how furry friends are a gift in getting us feeling grounded and comfortable again. Ephra was so kind and looked after our cat Kiki with the utmost care. We received updates and pics daily and this made us feel both happy and relieved that Kiki was doing so well. We are repeat clients of Ephra and this was the 3rd time we left our cat in her care for 2 weeks. Our cat is senior and it may sometimes hard to deal with compared to young cats but she always takes great care of our cat. She responds quickly even she works long hours, send update with photos daily. We enjoy our vacation without any stress thanks to Ehpra! Her place is far from our home but it is very important for our cat's happiness so we always choose her. We definitely recommend her to anyone who look for a cat sitter and we will use her service for our next vacation for sure.
As pet owners, it can be a challenging task finding someone you trust to look after your fur baby while you go on vacation. In our case, we needed someone to watch our cat for 10 days. A good friend of ours highly recommended Ephra and because she was referred to us, we felt very comfortable leaving our cat in her care. We are glad we did! We never had to worry about how our cat was doing as Ephra was very thoughtful in sending us updates. From the photos that we received, it seemed like our cat was also on her own vacation and she was having no problem cuddling up to her pet sitter! We will definitely contact Ephra again the next time we go away!

Your cat always gets their own 2x2x8 foot cat condo as their own private space to sleep, hide, eat, drink water, and use the litter box. Once your cat warms up and wants to explore more then they are welcome to hang out in the living room. The living room is furnished with a couch, window cat hammock, cat tree, a full glass window overlooking the balcony and garden on one side and another bkg window looking at the street. We have a sassy cat named Sally which we keep separate from your cat at all times. All boarding cats are indoor-only for their safety and well-being. Most of all, I wish people would treat others like how we treat cats: Be soft on approach, gauge cat's interest, give cats space when they show they aren't interested in playing/petting, and give cats love and attention when they come close.

What are the feeding schedules for your cat? If there is medication, let me know when to administer the medication and what amounts. Any specific things your cat likes to do? Eg. Chase laser to use energy, etc. Any behaviours to monitor? Eg. Biting ankles, chewing plastic bag/plants, etc.
A typical day
Recreation: - set up cat toys and interact with cat to give it exercise and play time - follow your cat treat guidelines - giving cuddles, and also giving space to cats Medical and Hygiene: - subcutaneous fluids - cat medication in-ear with finger cot - syringe liquid medication - correctly measure medicated cat food - scoop litter, safely dispose litter, refill litter - food and water dishes filled and cleaned - litter boxes filled and cleaned - clean up fur, hair ball, vomit, urine - brushing cat hair - any care plan you have for your cat - keep you updated with photos of their cats with each visit!

Typical schedule: I work 12 hour shifts, 3-4 days a week, and on my husband works 9-5 business hours. Us adults and our toddler and our friends all love cats and will squeeze in many opportunities to play with cats. Boarding cats are also in the living room where we hang out and gather so we spend as much time with them as we can.
