Recently returned from England and Ireland where I spent several months providing house and pet sitting through a different venue. I am currently in the Pacific Northwest and available for house and pet sitting! Originally from Alaska, I have over 40 years experience with dogs and cats and some experience with rabbits, sheep and horses. I am a kind, calm, detail oriented, mature woman with extensive experience owning and operating bed and breakfasts in Alaska, Washington and Mexico. Before I retired I was a teacher in both public and private schools. For several years I had a small Waldorf inspired early childhood program in my home in Bellingham, Washington on property I had certified as a backyard wildlife sanctuary. My passions are pets, art, writing and travelling. I'd very much enjoy meeting you and caring for your home and your companions. Because I am "retired" I am able to be present full-time to care for your pets and home while you are away.
