Pet care experience
Hi I am Enyen(Joy)! My husband Nathan and I moved to Bristol at the end of August 2023 to start my MA program. Back home in Taiwan, we have a lovely dog name Tails, who’s rescued from animal shelter and had mental and physical issues that need special care. Learning to take care of her(e.g. cook for her meal everyday to fit her diet need, taking online lessons to understand her anxiety around dogs) not only enrich our pet-caring experiences, but also form our belief that: “Pets are family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten!” We love helping taking care of dogs whether in Taiwan or after we moved to Bristol. We have experiences with different breeds including Sheltie, Schnauzer, Shiba, Griffon, Pointer, Labrador, Mixes, etc! They all have different characteristics and needs, but we enjoyed knowing each of them and created special memories together! We will love to offer our love and experiences to any dogs(or dog parents) in need:) Last but not least, we have a backyard with unlimited tennis balls (surrounding by tennis courts)!!!So if your dog is a ball lover then be ready to go home with plenty of brand new balls!

My dog was very well looked after by Enyen and her husband who are lovely people. I was sent lots of pictures of him enjoying himself and he came home very happy.

Wanted to say thank you to Joy and Nathan for taking such good care of Freddie who had a lovely couple of days and nights with them. The regular updates and pictures were reassuring and showed what a lovely time he was having. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would feel confident leaving Freddie with them again.
Enyen is a responsible and loving pet carer. She has a pet dog Liang in Taiwan and she definitely gives all her best to Liang. Even though Liang is a delicate dog which needs special care of her skin and teeth, she has never complained a word about her. On the contrary, Enyen’s care is so thorough that Liang’s hair is glowing and her teeth is strong now. She also has some experience of taking care of cats. Enyen’s love to pets is deep and true, and she herself is a fun, loving, babbling girl who makes people around her feel loved. If you are looking for a pet carer, Enyen is definitely your best choice.

We live in a flat with a backyard where your dog can enjoy his/her own running and sniffing space. Also, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the beautiful Downs, 2 minutes to Redland Green. He/She can also cuddles with us in rainy or cold day!

I have over 4 year experience of taking care of dog with special needs, including daily oral medication, body massage to release anxiety, and customized cooked meal. I understand the stress and struggle of having a pet with health issue, So you are more than welcome to let me know if your pets has special needs;)
A typical day
I love creating memories as well as recording it with your pets! We can explore the beautiful city greens and parks together, cuddle on the soft and warm sofa and take some nap, play games at our backyard, or any other outdoor or indoor activities he/she likes! we will also love to record his/her time with us by photos or even short film l(for longer stay) that can share with you in time!

Availability
As a student, my time is quite flexible! I usually have classes on Tuesday and Thursday morning, other weekdays in the afternoon and evening as well as weekends are free to spend with your dog whether having cozy indoor cuddles or crazy outdoor adventures!
