Enea and her husband were wonderful people. My sister needed a sitter for her two pups last minute and Enea was available and excited for them to stay. I received picture updates everyday and she quickly responded to all of my messages. We will definitely ask for her services in the future!

Unfortunately I have to write this because of the safety of future dogs in their care. Everything seemed great while my dogs where there, we received pictures but upon pick up I have one dog that was supposed to be on medication(antibiotic)2x a day. When I picked up I noticed 3 of the pills on the ground. Enea was caught of guard and said she didn’t realize my dog had spit them out. I brushed it off and said hi to my dogs. My one dog was painting but i assumed it was due to him being excited to see me. On the way home though he did not calm down and was not like himself. I texted Enea asking if he seemed high strung today while in her care. Her response was “ Yes a little bit, he was very excited and wanted to chase the cats a bit and was by my side when I was making dinner.” Not in his nature at all but as the night went on his gums became purple, heart rate was very elevated and he was pacing all around the house. We decided to head to the emergency vet and they concluded that thor has either ingested a recreational narcotic or a toxin in the sitters care. My dog had to be sedated for over 12 hours so that his heart could rest and to bring his blood pressure down. Rover is stating because we did not get a exact drug/toxin name, they will not cover the vet bill. My vet now has asked rover to reach out to them so that they can kindly walk the care and safety team through their definitive diagnosis..The name of the substance was not on my mind while I was worried about my dogs life but the vet is 100% certain my dog got ahold of something in Aeneas care that could have been fatal to him. I’m writing this in hope that the sitter is more careful on what she keeps in the reach of the dogs in her care.
