Pet care experience
In my adulthood I have cared for dogs of different breeds and temperaments. I volunteered at the humane society for a number of years before house and dog sitting on the regular. Your dog will have many chances to get outside throughout the day and regularly have an adult home with them.

You are in great hands with Emy caring for your furry friend! She house sat several times with our English Springer Spaniel and our Kitty. Emy did it all… cuddling, feeding, walking, playing… we could tell upon our return that it was a “Love fest” with Emy there. Responsible, timely, well organized and fun … that’s Emy. Emy watched my dog in my home while I was on a 2+ week vacation. My dog is a particularly difficult one to deal with and I really appreciated that she didn’t call to bother me for small issues and was able to figure that out on her own. Although I know if an owner wanted a lot of communication that she would be willing and able to do that as well to your liking. She is respectful, listened to all my instructions to a t, and I came home to the house just as tidy as I left it. Animals love Emy and I would suggest her services to anyone.

We have a large unfenced yard and access to a walking trail at the end of our block. We will offer a bedroom or living room for your dog to sleep. I am home most of the day and can get your dog out very often to use the bathroom and take a daily walk on the trail.

- If boarding it’s very important your dog is okay with little kids. - I want to know your dogs hand signals, if applicable, and what commands they respond best to and their specific words. -If they have any mobility needs that should be brought up so I can accommodate. -If they are good with other dogs, in case we cross paths with others on our walks. - any quirks or behaviors you would find relevant.
A typical day
Your dog will become a part of our family routine. Getting outside, walking on the path or playing in the yard, ending the day with a dinner together and getting cozy at night.

I am home most of the day during the week with my toddler. We are up early! Your dog will therefore have ample opportunity to go outside and take a walk.
