Ever since I can remember, I was surrounded by dogs. I have taken care of dogs and cats both as a side job and on a voluntary basis. I have been petsitting for the last 4 years so I am well aware of what is expected of me but I also enjoy it very much! I grew up inclined to understand pet's needs and show them the affection and care they need. At the same time, I am responsible when taking care of someone else's dog or cat, as if it were my own. I can take care of your dog or cat at your place, have them at my place (for dog boarding, I can host your pet at my second home in Amsterdam West) do drop in visits or take walks with your pet. I also have a lot of parks near my area so your dog can really enjoy himself/herself.

I make sure that I meet your pet in advance so as to see if we're a match. I let your pet come to me and I can gain their trust by understanding their temperament, depending on their breed. I try to spend as much time as possible with them so we can establish a level of trust. I'm attentive to your pet's needs and I try to gather as much information from you as possible so you won't have to worry about anything while you're away. I also make sure to communicate with you frequently so that you are assured and in the know of how your pet is doing.

I need to know their eating habits and dietary requirements and their typical day schedule. It's also useful to know how they get along with other pets or people, if they have been looked after by another petsitter before, how they are during the walks and any specific behavioural traits that are important to know.
A typical day
Depending on your pet's energy level and habits, I like to play fetch, run and hide and entertain your pet with their favourite toys. If your pet is up for it, we can go for a run so that they have an outlet outside the house.
