My dog was a rescue- off the streets-& passed away during chemo. Hoping to heal my heart, I had Bones for 8 yrs. He was a Pit/Terrier-corgi mix.

I have know Emy for many years. She has always been a great pet owner and advocate. She actually rescued our baby Rocco. She has always helped us out when we have not been able to find a boarding or book boarding with his trainer. The last time she dog sat Rocco we were in a real bind, he had been kicked out of doggy daycare and our current trainer that boards him was also out of town for part of our trip. Since his a bid dog and can be anxious we thought it was best he stay at our place so we just asked her if she could let him out in the backyard in the morning and evening so he wouldn't go inside the house. She went above and beyond, by taking him for walks in the morning and evenings. She also brought him toys so he would be entertained during the day and gifted him a harness for their walks. She is great with him. We fully trust her with our Rocco and home. Would highly recommend adding her to your company.
Emy is the biggest dog lover I have ever met. She has been the owner of a few dogs in the past where she has been very loving and caring towards them. Just recently, her dog Bones passed away after 8 years of companionship and friendship. I was able to witness how Emy cared for him and how much Bones loved her in return. She is the perfect candidate to dog sit, you won’t regret it. She really is a dog whisperer!

I have no pets in my apartment. For walks, I prefer harness walking, especially if the the dog is younger. Plus, it avoids the risk of dogs pulling on the collar and hurting their trachea. And if this helps any for the safety paragraph, I’m an AgHorn- Texas Aggie UG and UT grad- yes, it’s possible.

Availability
Recently resigned so I’m free all day until I start my next position so not for another two months. Again, it’s been hard for me to go walking & see everyone with their fur babies. So I hope this helps me cope & will probably continue until I feel ready. I’ve also fostered a pit & he was adopted. Our family has a total of four dogs, all dogs we have picked off the streets. This has just been our way since as long as I can remember. That to say I love dogs, cats, all animals- ok, maybe not reptiles as much. I also took a rescue cat in that my sister kept. I have NO current pet, as I am not ready. But would love to help take care of yours.
