Pet care experience
My entire life, being 29, I have had dogs as pets who I consider family members. I have a very deep passion for animal rights and a love for improving their welfare. I'm that person always asking if I can love up on your pups or spending the evening with anyone 4-legged rather than the (yawn) 2–legged folk :) I respect all animals, especially dogs and of any size or breed and love their company more than anything. I have had roughly 11 dogs throughout life, two of them with me now, Akilé & Maddax. Our home has plenty of open space and a backyard for play! We go to the park often for some extra exercise as well. I would love to meet your pups and Akilé & Maddax would love some four-legged temporary family as well! Emmy kept the boys busy and happy during their stay with her! The photos she sent us showed our pups getting lots of walks, trips to the lake, and plenty of love. We're so grateful that Emmy takes such good care of our boys!
Emmylou checked in with me during every visit, gave my doggy lots of love, and even took him on a few leashed walks (with him fighting the leash).. and sent pics after each visit. I'll definitely pick her again!
Emmylou was able to take my pup Momo at the last minute and he had a great time staying with her. She sent me pictures of my rambunctious goofball during the day so I knew he was safe and happy. We picked him up and he we exhausted, perfect for the ride home.
Emmylou did an outstanding job. Jewels was happy and enjoyed the company of the other dogs while at daycare. Emmylou kept me updated throughout the day on how Jewels was. Moments where Jewels was with Nova waiting by the front door for me to return. Another moment we’re Jewels was enjoying butt scratches ?. Thank you again for babysitting Jewels Emmylou

Do they put effort into escaping or do well off-leash? Do they experience separation anxiety from you or people in general? Do they (males particularly) mark territory indoors (happens often having male doggos ourselves)?
A typical day
Spending a majority of time at home, our pups and visitors are almost never alone and spend the day playing in the spacious fenced yard or following me around the house. We often go hiking or biking in the mountains near the neighborhood to get better exercise followed by naps and movies later in the night. It’s best of both worlds depending on what your paws are into :)
