Hello there ? My name is Emmy, and I’m part time humanitarian aid worker, full time dog lover. I’m trying to make some extra cash for graduate school, and what better way than caring all the adorable doggos in the Bay Area. If you leave your dog (aka my future best friend) under my care, they will be well provided for. I have 6 years of experience handling all sorts of dogs, whether they are full of energy, calm, or skittish. I also have experience is handling dogs who are overcoming abusive situations; my dog is a rescue from Botswana so I have plenty of tips and tricks dealing with that. I am an active person, so I would love to have dogs join me on my walks through the park. My apartment in Lafayette is fairly spacious, so your dog could comfortably stay with me if needed. ???

Emmy has a tremendous amount of patience for dogs and is able to curb disruptive behavior with minimal effort. Emmy also has a tremendous amount of energy, so dogs that like to play will get the simulation they need, but they're also cuddly so chill dogs will be comfortable too. A fine choice!
If I said that Emmy loves dogs/animals that it would be an understatement. I have personally seen her take care of entire litters of puppies because they didn't have anyone to look after them. Another time she cried sporadically for three days because she saw a dead cat on the side of the road. All that being said, Emmy has an incredible heart for animals and would be the first person I would turn to for advice about dogs. She is an amazing trainer and I would recommend her to anyone if they want their dog to be in caring hands.
Emmy is my daughter, and I have never met someone who loves dogs more than them. Ever since they were a child, they have had an incredible soft spot for animals, especially dogs. While they were a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana, they adopted and took care of a dog somehow in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, and brought that dog back to America. They're responsible and sensitive when handling animals, and has enough energy to keep up with any dog you give them. I strongly recommend considering them as a pet sitter.
