First time using Rover and Emmy made Joie and I both feel so comfortable. Joie loved being with Emmy and I loved receiving pictures while I was away! I will definitely use Emmy again!

Hello there!
I absolutely love dogs! I have been dog sitting through Rover for just over three years now. I'm a very seasoned dog and pet sitter. I can handle any special needs your furry friend may have!

I have a dog of my own. She is very friendly and loves playing with her fur-pals! If necessary, I can keep her separated from your pets when staying at my home.

I am responsible, organized and ...

What Emmy would like to know about your dog

I have a set of questions I usually ask during every first meet and greet. They are:
Is you dog food aggressive? With other dogs or humans?
Is your dog a runner-will he/she bolt when I open the front door?
When on walks, is you dog ok with strangers?
How does your dog react to other dogs when on a walk?
What specific commands do you have for your dog?
Are they crate trained? Where does he/she sleep usually?
What is a typical day for you and your dog?
Does your pet have any medical conditions or medication?

Oral Medication Administration
Special Needs Dog Experience
Senior Dog Experience
Can provide daily exercise

When Emmy watches your pet

My dog-sitting style would depend on the dog and what the owner is comfortable with. I lead an active lifestyle, so if a dog needs exercising, I can definitely do that! I do love visiting local parks and taking long walks. Or if the dog just needs some gentle petting, company and cuddles, I can do that too!
I would request to learn the dog owner's commands. I believe consistency is key when dog training!
My general dog motto is ‘A good dog is a tired dog’. I firmly believe dogs can equally be worn out from mental exercise ( like learning new tricks or polishing old tricks) like they can be worn out from physical exercise. If you’d like me to work on certain commands and/or tricks, please let me know! I’d be more than happy to help reinforce good behavior.
