Pet care experience
In addition to caring for my own dog for the past 10 years, I volunteered at a local animal shelter for a year where I walked and attended to all kinds of dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Wonderful stay with Emmie. I booked on relatively short notice and Emmie was able to accommodate. I got pictures and a video and lots of communication. She also listened to my instructions. Would book again.

I live in a relatively spacious studio (I dont have much furniture) in Rincon Hill right by Embarcadero! There’s open space for dogs to run around and play in my apartment, but I’m more than willing to take dogs out to the seaside for long walks as much as they want. I’m always mindful of the dog’s character and boundaries as well as the owner’s. I’ll always be sure to receive this information from the owner prior to walking/visiting pets and keep the owners updated as much as possible when being responsible for their pets.

Anything that your pet likes and dislikes, special needs and things to be aware of, whether or not the dog is good with other people, other dogs, and any quirks such as pulling hard on the leash etc. Pretty much any information that will make me the most prepared to provide the best service for your pet :)
A typical day
Of course activities will depend on the dog and his/her personality but activities could range from fetch at the nearby dog park, exploring embarcadero, and lots and lots of belly rubs!

I’m currently working 9-5 during the weekdays but work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m available to host dogs for daycare on Wednesdays and Fridays-Sundays and boarding on Friday and Saturday nights. For dogs that are able to stay at home themselves during the day, I’m more than happy to provide boarding outside of those two nights.
