Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and other pets for over 25 years. I started pet-sitting for neighbors when I was in middle school and never stopped. I have experience with a variety of special needs animals, and am quick to learn your fur-baby’s care routine. In the past, I have easily worked with dogs and cats with hearing and vision difficulties, dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents needing medication, dogs (including large breed) and birds with mobility issues, and dogs with anxiety. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors. I can take your dog on some exciting walks in your area. I just love just being with animals. I’m at a place in my live where I can’t have my own dog right now, so I am happy to give all of that built up love and attention to your pup!

Emmi's services are excellent! I have a 1 person dog so she is skeptical of other people. Emmi is understanding & patient. She came to meet my dog before being hired & has always been gentle & compassionate with her. I love getting the pictures & updates during the visits & walks. It definitely provides a sense of reassurance.
Emmi was an anchor for our family for three years. Five days per week, she arrived everyday excited to see my dog. Her nurturing demeanor was encouraging, there were several times that my 140lb Ridgeback willingly participated in medical-type tasks that would have been difficult for me to convince him to undergo (touching his paws when he had an allergy flair, example). I’m so happy that we trusted Rover, and even happier that they brought Emmi into our family. Anyone who has the opportunity to get on her schedule will be very satisfied, Ridgeback stamp of approval!
Mookie and Gizzy are well cared for with Emmi. And so was our house 😊 Very responsive to all my texts and calls I’m a very nervous parent and she puts up with me Thanks

I have always preferred large breed dogs, but I’m good working with the little guys too. I’m happy to work with just about any animal. I have experience with a lot, and am willing to learn even more. Rodents, reptiles, and amphibians don’t freak me out, in fact I love them all. I have had my own dogs in the past, but currently share my home with two guinea pigs.
A typical day
I can be what your pet needs. Whether it’s a playmate, hiking/walking buddy, or someone to sit quietly with, I’m happy to be there.
