Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old and I am currently 23 years old. In March of 2018, when I finally was able to get a house to live in off my campus at college, the first thing I did was get my own puppy. He is a golden retriever named Bear and he’s now a little over 2 years old. My girlfriend and I also rescued a lab retriever mix puppy named Luka who is 6 months old now. I am experienced with caring for older dogs (my past dog) and new puppies (my current dog). I also am a big fan of cats as well, because all animals should receive the proper love they deserve!

Emmett’s love for dogs shows in how his face lights up around every dog he encounters. He loves dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes and appreciates all of their different personalities. He raised 2 of his own dogs: a miniature Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retrievers. He is intelligent, responsible, punctual and hardworking. He would care for and treat someone else’s dog just as he would treat his own, because he knows that dogs are part of the family and deserve all the love we can give them.

A typical day
I like taking dogs on walks with lots of wildlife if possible. This can be on trails or through a park; anything to get them out where they can look at birds and squirrels in action! If not, a long walk around the community will do as well!
