Pet care experience
I love the Spokane community and have enjoyed watching pets and housesitting all over the South Hill. I love hanging out with pets and going on scenic walks and runs. 😊. On my off time, I teach at a preschool and work at the Fox Theater a few hours a week, am working on finishing my BA in TESL at EWU, do yoga and play many instruments.

Emmaline is a wonderful pet sitter and we feel so good when she is taking care of our pets and house. The animals love her and she gives them extra care and attention. She’s very responsive and I couldn’t recommend her enough.
Emmaline is the best! Sitting for us gave our 8 year old Airedale a chance to stay home and enjoy lovely walks and playtime with Emmaline! Emmaline is in high demand so hopefully you are lucky enough to have her care for your pet!
Emmaline has been a wonderful caretaker for our pet family! We have 15 chickens and 2 cats and she is always careful and thoughtful and thorough. She administers medication to our elderly cat and has been great problem solving a few surprise issues that have come up while we have been away. She always goes above and beyond my expectations and our pets are always happy and healthy when we get home. She is also just an amazing person that truly cares and is accountable and re responsible. Can't recommend her highly enough.

I strongly prioritize the safety of the pets I am caring for and like to keep the pet on a leash when I take them on a walk or run. I also like to play with the pet when they’re outside rather than leaving them unattended. Furthermore, if your cat is an indoor and outdoor kitty, I only let it outside during the daylight hours.

Before caring for your dog, I like to know what time of day you typically take your dog on a walk(s), for how long, and where you normally go. I find it’s very important to stick to a routine for the dog, especially if I’m a new petsitter to them. I also like to know what commands you use with your dog (such as heel, place, stay etc.)
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on scenic walks and runs. I find it’s so important to get moving with your dog as much as possible. I enjoy taking dogs around the Bluff trails, and the streets around Cannon Park.

Availability
My schedule is very flexible. I work a couple afternoons or evenings a week for no more than 4 hours at a time and during the academic year I have a few college classes online. Otherwise I dedicate most of my time to pet care, and other odd jobs such as babysitting. :)
