Pet care experience
I’ve been around large and small dogs, cats and other animals my whole life. I can walk and feed, provide love, do vet visits, etc.. Growing up, I spent my free time volunteering at local Putnam ASPCA and building trust with those around me to care for their animals! While it’s a great source of income, it’s truly a passion of mine to spend my time with animals. I feel lucky to have the opportunity!

Emmagrace did an excellent job caring for our cat Eloise.
Emma is so lovely and keeps great communication with us! She is a natural with dogs and shows her love for our pup every time she visits. Highly recommend! :)

I’m lucky to have a 110lb senior golden retriever, Jacob (he’s turning 12). My life revolves around him in all ways - and I will provide that same love and care to your pets! Also pictured is Levi and Khaleesi - Jacobs brother/sister! Both Golden Doodles with VERY high energy and lots of love to give. I find value in doing a meet and greet to allow the pets to feel comfortable while in my care, will discuss with mom and dad to understand routine and habits, along with provide consistent updates and be available while caring for your fur babe!
Information Emmagrace A. would like to know about your pet
I’m interested in knowing their behaviors such as recall, ability to be on and off leash, reactive to other animals, daily habits such as poddy schedule/food schedule and exercise habits. Every fur babe is different and I believe keeping them on a routine that mom and dad have them on is vital!
A typical day
Being a senior dog mom, I understand the benefits of mental stimulation due to the lack of energy some pups may have. My most recent stimulation trick is to roll calorie friendly treats in a towel and allow my dog to sniff and play around with it until he gets the treats out. It takes awhile and is ready for a snooze once he’s done. Snuggles go a long way after a nice long walk - I love a good sunset, so I normally reserve my longer walks during that time!

A little bit about me - similar to many other little kids, I wanted to be a vet when I grew up. The older I got, the more I realized it wasn’t a true fit for me. I switched gears and am now on track to graduate with my ASN (RN) in May! I’m in school 3 days a week and study 40-50 hours a week. Study breaks are important for me to be successful in school - and I couldn’t think of anything more therapeutic than spending time with animals. I’m a proud momma of a huge senior golden retriever, who is my shadow and my other half. He has taught me everything there is to know about patience, gratitude and humor, even when the day isn’t so great.
