Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Emma. I've been walking since I was 15 months old, so I have lots of experience with that. I grew up with dogs and have volunteered in shelters as well as pet nearly every dog that has ever walked by me. I'm the mom of a 5 old black lab and a 5 year old American Bully. I am temporarily in town for work and missing my dogs, so I'd love to hang out with yours. I can't host in my home but can come to yours for walks, drop ins, and have some overnight availability. I'm thrilled to meet your fur baby and prevent day time boredom that always seems to end with your favorite pair of shoes destroyed and the neighbors grumpy because of the barking.
Reviews
Emma is a wonderful sitter. She is extremely responsible and treats my dog as if it’s her own. She sends adorable updates throughout the day and is a great communicator. Every time I return home my dog is happy, exercised, and incredibly well taken care of. I never have to worry when my dog is with Emma, she always does such an amazing job!
Emma is awesome. She took great care of my dog, never had to worry about anything. My dog was always excited to see her. Can't recommend enough.
Emma went above and beyond. She practiced Archie's commands we have been working on, sent us great photos and did a great job keeping Archie happy. We will definitely be using her again to take care of Archie.
Emma is fantastic! Gave me an update as she left, let me know everything that was going on. And totally went above and beyond to make sure Koda was well taken care of!

Safety, trust & environment
I am great at following directions, so any rules you give me related to your home will be implemented. One of my dogs at home is reactive on walks, meaning I'm used to being very alert and avoiding triggers as well as comfortable muzzling dogs if that's what you do. I'm not one to leave the gate open or forget to lock the door.
Information Emma Z. would like to know about your pet
Before taking your dog on a walk, I would like to know their activity needs and temperament. I'm not opposed to walking dogs of any size (I walk my collective 160 pounds of dog daily), breed, or personality, but I do want to know beforehand so I can decide the best possible place to take them and prevent any altercations for dogs with triggers. There's no point in me coming if your dog isn't worn out after, which means I need to know just how much exercise they require to get in a curl-up-and-nap mood.
A typical day
Depending on your preference and your dog's activity level, I can stroll them around your neighborhood or run them at a dog park. I go on runs and always like four-legged company, if your dog likes to crank out a few miles. I'm great at tug-of-war, but I promise I will let your dog win most of the time. I have no shame carrying a Chuck-It ball thrower around and will make sure any retriever's fetch dreams come true. I love training tricks using only positive reinforcement, which is awesome for dogs needing a little more mental stimulation. We can discuss which of these activities your dog would like best before I take them out.

Availability
I work a few days per week and don't have much going on the other 4, which sounds like a perfect time for some dog walking. I work nights, so that does limit my overnight availability. I will be in Winston Salem until February.
