Hi! My name is Emma and I am a school social worker looking for a part time job. I have summers off and various school breaks, and I want to continue spending my time doing things I love, which is caring for and spending time with sweet and adorable dogs and cats! I have grown up with dogs of all sizes, so I am comfortable with any and all breeds. I have had a Newfoundland, chihuahuas, and a pug. I have also had 4 cats, 2 which have special diabetic needs. I currently have an American Bully and a cat :) I absolutely love forming special bonds with animals, and I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your loved one in someone else’s care. I am a reliable, trustworthy, and energetic person and excited to meet your companion!

Please let me know the basics: how your dog acts around children, people, and other dogs. If there are any allergy or food sensitivities I would like to know. As well as any triggers or anything that your dog is afraid of or gets anxiety about.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks near the water. If the dog is friendly around other animals then I would love to take them to the dog park as well. There are lots of walking paths and outdoor areas around the Seattle area that are great for pets and I am excited to take your fur baby on some safe and stimulating adventures!

Availability
I am available on most weekends, and sometimes weekdays during the evening and nighttime. I adopted my 8 year old cat when he was just a kitten from the Whatcom Humane Society, and he has done absolutely everything with me. I make sure to carve out time every day for him, and I understand the importance of pets needing walks and affection while their owners are gone.
