Pet care experience
I've had and loved pets my entire life. My own dog passed away 2 years ago so I'll take any chance I get to give as much love as possible to any dog/cat that comes by! My experience: I've worked with the Ottawa humane society and multiple other rescues for 2 years, helping both dogs and cats of all different ages and conditions. Personally, I've had dogs as small as a Pomeranian and as big as a Newfoundland! I can (both dogs and cats): Administer eye and oral medication if needed. Perform injections (insulin, medications, etc.) and blood tests for glucose monitoring. There are multiple fenced dog parks nearby that I can take your pet to. The city is currently building a dog park right in front of my apartment and it will be completed shortly. I speak fluent Mandarin and a little bit of Cantonese. If you're more comfortable communicating in these languages please let me know. :) I'm a student at the university of Toronto Scarborough campus. I'll be taking all my courses online next year so I'll be your pet's trusty all-day companion. I believe I'm equipped with the skills and experience required to deal with any situation while taking care of your pet. Emma is amazing. She sent constant feedback and photos of how Cookie was doing. She seems genuine and is very caring towards Cookie. Cookie had a great time with all the walks and dog park time and playing tricks. I definitely recommend Emma to other dog sitters. We will be coming back for sure.
Emma was great with my dog during her stay. I was a bit nervous as I don't often leave my dog with anyone else however Emma kept me at ease by providing constant updates and photos during the weekend on everything from walks, to feeding, to making new doggy friends during their walks :) I will definitely book with Emma in the future. Emma was the best in terms of seeing to it that our dog's needs are met. She was very responsive and gives updates which we love. I know our dog had a nice experience staying with her. We will definitely book her again, if her availability permits. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter.
