Pet care experience
Both of my parents are veterinarians, so I grew up helping out in their clinic. As a teenager I worked as a kennel staff/vet tech assistant and also grew up raising livestock. I am very comfortable with animals; my mom works at a local clinic in Little Rock (should anything happen, knock on wood, a good vet is only a phone call away :-). I am a first year medical student at UAMS and am looking for something to help pay for groceries while I take classes. I also have rescue pets so I am familiar with the patience and level of care that our furry friends require on a daily basis. I would love to look after your pets!! ***I am fully COVID vaccinated and boosted

Emma is great to work with, very accommodating, even with a challenging little yorkipoo who thinks she's the boss of the world. She followed all directions, honored all requests and was very responsive with texts and photos. I will definitely call on her again to care for my pups and fish!

Emma was fantastic. Had a last minute out of town trip come up and she was readily and available and willing to come dog sit for me. She was easy to communicate with and has tons of experience with animals. I would highly recommend her!

I’m pretty low key and love to just hang out with your pet at home. If available I will take them to a nearby park or on a long walk, but I primarily want to keep them as low stress as possible while you are away! As someone who used to work in a veterinary office I understand how important it is to develop a good trust level, and will demonstrate patience while getting to know your pal.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I have no preferences for breeds or size. I do have a cat, but I can keep her separate with baby gates upstairs if your dog does not handle cats well.

I love going on walks and checking out the local dog parks. I enjoy going outside and helping to get all that extra energy out!

I have a cat named Paisley who took some time to adapt after moving here from California. I understand the time commitment and patience needed for pets, especially when they are stressed and subjected to new people and environments.
