Pet care experience
I have had a dog or a cat since as long as I can remember - some of my earliest memories are running around after my parents’ puppy. Ever since then, I’ve been a loyal pet mom to my own fur babies and best friends to cats and canines everywhere. I can be relied upon to walk, feed, and LOVE your sweet dog or cat! As a current PhD student I don’t have the time to care for a pet of my own, but would love to share the time I do have with a furry friend. As a psychology student, I know that animal therapy can’t be beat!

There is no such thing as too up close and personal for me with pets - any animal having a sleepover will be given free range of my one bedroom apartment. In your home, I will carefully respect any rules you have for where your pet can be, and will shower them with PLENTY of love if I’m stopping by to feed them or taking them out for walk in the neighborhood or park!

A typical day
When it comes to dogs, I’m a big fan of the basics (fetch, cuddles, and lots of exercise!) but will happily take part in any other activities. I’m well-versed in a range of cat toys (I’m known to be electrifying with a mouse on a string). Your pet will not be board! I’m happy to walk your dog around your neighborhood or drive them to an adventure on UVA campus or one of the many Cville parks.

As a PhD student, my schedule is incredibly flexible, especially during the summer. I can be around at basically whatever time I am needed, given that I set my own research hours.
