Dog AND Cat Loving Sitter
Pet care experience
Hello! As most people here, I grew up with animals - 8 at one point - and helped walk/feed//train friends and family members with their pets as well. I adore cats and know how to build their trust and give them space. I also love dogs and live a pretty active lifestyle, so long walks are my go-to form of exercise for them (plus the dog park, if permitted). I helped train my parents puppy this past year where they now live in Wyoming and is a hunting dog actually. I’m also comfortable caring for other pets such has fish, birds and reptiles as I grew with all kinds of animals. I currently live in an apartment, so small to medium dogs and cats are ideal. I work online so my schedule is flexible for all kinds of services, such as house-visits, house-sitting, daily walks, and boarding. Before taking on any job, I do require meeting to discuss any triggers for your pets, how they are around other animals, what they are used to on a walk, and your commands. Want to make sure your furry (or not furry!) loved ones stay safe as well as others. Let me know if you need any assistance with your dog/cat/fish/bird/reptile, and we can talk soon!

Penny had a great time with Emma over the holidays. We got lots of great pictures during her stay. Our dog was a little anxious when we dropped her off and I don’t think she wanted to leave by the time we came to pick her up!
Emma took great care of my cat! He is very shy but she managed to get him to come out from hiding and play with her. I would love to have her sit for us again.
Emma was fantastic. Met all of our needs and more!!
Emma is the first person I think of when looking for pet help. She's taken care of my cat for months at a time, and based on Nelly's affection for her, has done an amazing job. I recently adopted a dog who has also had the pleasure of being watched over by Emma, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Emma had taken the initiative to work on some training things I mentioned Sienna and I were working on! I rest easy knowing she takes the best care of my animals because she has a genuine love for them, and it shows.

I often take dogs out for a morning and afternoon walk to let off some steam. There are also two nearby perks for them to roam around. I understand a dog virus is going around, so early morning fetch would be preferred. For house sitting/dog sitting, it would be great to get a lay of the land talk about what there normal schedule is and where they nearby walls are.
Information Emma W. would like to know about your pet
I like to have a good 30-minute meeting before caring for your pet to make sure I understand any special requests they have and a basic outline of them. This is especially important about cues, commands, how good of a call-back they have with strangers, how comfortable they are with other dogs, or if you have a cat, how much space they should be given and feeding times. Understanding their regular schedule is also important to me so that it’s not disrupted too much as I care for them.
A typical day
I would get to know there preference for toys and what activities they like best. Playing scent games is my go-to because it keeps them focused, especially if food driven.

I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I often wake up in the morning and take myself out for a 1 mile walk before starting and an afternoon walk as well. Would love to incorporate a furry friend with my strolls. On weekends, I’m usually out and about skiing, which is why I don’t accept weekend services.
