I have grown up with all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to chickens and snakes. As a dog walker, I have a lifetime of experience. I have a dog of my own who is a strong tugger and jumper, so I know how to handle more energetic or bigger dogs. I also volunteer at the Humane Society and take dogs out in the yard for potty walks and to play with them. As a dog sitter or cat sitter, one of my first jobs was pet sitting for my neighbors when I was around ten. At the Humane Society, I help with the socialization of cats and dogs, so I know the visual cues and body language of animals and know how to deal with them.
