My partner and I grew up with pets, and then brought Mia into our own little family 1.5 years ago! She is a rescue from Mexico who loves to join us on our outdoor adventures, and we would be so happy to have another dog come along. (Mia agrees - she's a friendly, playful girl who loves to make new friends!). Prior to joining Rover, we would do this with friend's and family's dogs. As dog owners, we understand that leaving your dog in someone else's care can feel uncertain. We would love to meet you and your dog prior to committing to ensure you are comfortable leaving your dog with us. My partner and I work (flexible) full-time Monday to Friday, but family time is our priority on the weekends. It is especially important for us to get outside, and try to go for at least two long forest walks/hikes on Saturdays and Sundays. We have an open apartment that Mia has a lot of freedom within. Your dog would have the same opportunities, but we could also limit that if you would prefer. We are also comfortable giving medication if needed as Mia has her own condition that requires daily medication.
