Pet care experience
I was born into a home full of animals. As a child we had 3 dogs(1medium/2large, 3 cats, and the random array of fish/turtles between me and my 6 siblings. As a teenager we had 2 dog(1small/1medium) and 1 cat. Now as an adult my family and I have 1 dog. We did have a senior (21 years old) cat that passed away in 2023 due to old age, my family and I love animals and helping people. I have cared for my own pets as well as the pets of my family and friends my whole life. I’m sure with detailed instructions I can help care for your furry loved ones!

For our home: I have a 6 year old black lab golden retriever mix. And a 1 1/2 year old human toddler. We have baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs and to separate the living room and kitchen. So there are multiple barriers able to used if needed. The gates are wall mounted for increased safety. Since there is almost always an adult home we have plenty of time to love and care for your pets! We have a water bubbler that we have connected to the Alexa so we are able to turn it on and off for our pets even if we are not home. We have a few parks around us that are just a short drive away. We have a large metal cage that’s available if needed. We have an unfenced yard but a fenced yard available a short drive away (aprox 3 minutes). We have cameras around the house in almost every room for security, safety, and to catch funny moments. One camera is pointed at the dog cage as well for safety. For at your home: I will follow all acceptable and agreed upon rules and care for your pets the way that you tell me too! I will admit that sometimes I run a few minutes late due to having my 1 1/2 year son with me! But for short visits (potty breaks) I can keep him in the car if needed!

Please provide proof of all vaccinations prior to booking with me. You will not be able to book without proof of vaccinations. Cats- rabies, and tick, and fvrcp Dogs- bordarella, distemper/lepto, flea and tick, rabies, and dog influenze(preferred but not required). Please let me know in advance if there are any specific instructions, special needs, medication to be delivered, if they are child friendly or not, or anything else of importance to know. Thank you!!
A typical day
I love to go for walks, near the house (yours or mine) or at a park near by. I enjoy activities such as playing with balls and with other dog toys. I can work on helping train for basic commands if you provide examples (and extra compensation) of your preferences in the training or specific instructions. I can provide the animal with experience around a small child.

Availability
My schedule is all over the place. My husband works for the fire department on a rotating schedule, goes to class 2 days a week for his Paramedic cert, and has clinical days. I usually work Wednesday until the evening, Friday overnight, and Saturday until the evening as I work in EMS too. Either myself or my husband is almost always home to watch the baby. On the rare occasion a sitter would come to my home to help with the baby if we are both gone. My availability is very open since my husband is home when I am not, your pet will get love around the clock!
