Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Emma and I'm a UCLA graduate student. I've taken care of dogs since I was a child, with my family who frequently fostered pups who needed breaks from shelters. I have a special spot for pitbull-type dogs, and have had my own for 4 years now. (His name is Bongo and I split custody over him with a former partner, so every other month I don't have him!) He's a highlight of my life. I am happiest playing with and snuggling with a sweet, slobbery, loving dog. I'm super detail-oriented, prompt, and punctual. I absolutely love walking and hiking with dogs, and offer plenty of play time. Can't wait to meet you and your fur baby!

Emma helped pet sit my pitbull for a few nights and she is an absolute treasure. Emma was a fantastic communicator, charismatic, incredibly responsible, and most importantly a great dog person! I told her to make an account on Rover because her positive energy needs to be out in the world and shared with as many doggos as possible.

My home is clean and bright, and I have lots of soft surfaces for pets to hang out. I also have a few dog beds and a food/water bowl station. I live on a street with a nice long stretch of grass where we can take your pet potty, and we also live close to a park for longer strolls!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I have experience working with dogs who are older, who are seeing-impaired, who are reactive, who have incontinence, and many other types of needs. I love all dogs, especially bully breeds! :')
A typical day
Depending on what your dog likes to do, I am happy to make them happy! Whether that's going on long walks in our neighborhood or to the nearby park, or throwing a ball or playing tug-of-war, I am always game. I also love to practice tricks with dogs!

I work almost exclusively from home so I am available to hang out with your pet all day! I am already accustomed to meeting a pet's daily and weekly needs, and can mirror what you do during the day to make sure that the pet is comfortable.
