Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember I have felt a kinship to both wild and domestic creatures. Most of my experience lies with dogs. For over a year, I worked at a kennel free dog day care and overnight boarding facility. I did both day and overnight shifts. During the day, I was responsible for a pack of dogs (anywhere from 8 to 30.) This included diligent supervision to ensure everyone's safety, clean up, knowledge of breeds, behaviors, proper reactions to behaviors, basic training, and most importantly: lots of love. Overnight shifts involved feedings, medication, and sole responsibility of all boarding dogs until morning. I've also done in-home care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats. As well as, about half a year on a small dairy farm caring for cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, and goats. I am punctual, follow directions very well, and am open to and respectable of how people care for their companions. If you find I am a good fit for your furry friend, not only will they be in good hands so will your home; I am extremely clean and respectful of other people's homes.

Emma watched my Pug for two days and an overnight. Emma did a super job. She followed all feeding and care instructions. She also sent me pictures of Punky (my Pug) throughout the time I was away from home. I hope to be able to book Emma to be with Punky again when I have to be away.

I prefer to be thorough on learning how a client wants their companion cared for and follow directions very well; I think it is extremely important to not break their routine. I will do my best to adjust my schedule to fit theirs. Companions also need lots of extra love to comfort them while their human is away.

Please let me know of any special needs they have and I am happy to accomodate them. I know it can be really hard to leave your animal companion in the care of another and I want to do my best to reassure you that I will take care of them as you would to the best of my ability. If you could write out your animal care instructions, vet information, and home care instructions prior to my stay with your fur kiddo(s) it would be appreciated. A typical day
I will do my best to care for your fur kid(s) as you do. Since I'll be caring for your loved one(s) in the comfort of your own home, just let me know the ins and outs of your typical day together, where you go for walks, whether you let your pup sleep in the bed or not, when they go out, when they eat, etc. I will do my best to keep to their normal schedule because we know it is hard enough for them to adjust to their favorite person(s) being away and I want to make this time as easy as possible for them. My work will keep me away for a few hours in the morning, but afterwards I enjoy dedicating my time to keeping your fur kid(s) safe and happy.

My work schedule is rather flexible. I do work part time in the mornings for a few hours. My afternoons and nights are open to happily care for your loves.
