Pet care experience
Ever since I was a kid, I have absolutely adored animals. I grew up with golden retrievers, a lab, and a german shepard, and to this day, animals have been a central part of my life. My pet-sitting experience first kicked off in middle school with my next-door neighbors cat, and I haven’t been able to stop! Over the past several years, I have had plenty of experience with puppies/kittens as well as senior and special needs animals. In college I worked as a dog daycare attendant, and I learned even more about how to properly monitor body language and socialization. As the head groomer of my family’s dogs, I’m also an experienced bather and nail trimmer. I live with my partner, Johnny, and he helps me care for all the pets that stay with us! He’s fantastic with animals and has been a dog and cat lover his whole life.

Emma and Johnny took wonderful care of Leo! Emma is super communicative - sending photos and updates every day, and answering all my texts when I needed extra reassurance and check-in’s :) This was my first time using Rover, and I was on a week-long international trip, so I was a bit nervous! But meeting Emma and seeing how sweet she was with Leo put me right at ease. And he clearly had a great time too! Will definitely be rebooking for my next trip.

Being away from family can be scary- even in the best of circumstances! Our goal is to give them the safest, most comfortable environment we can while you’re away. We want your fur baby as happy as possible, and we’ll provide plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, health concerns, dietary restrictions, or important routines. Being away from family can be stressful for pets, so we hope to keep their days as regular as possible. Sometimes, a little bit of familiarity goes a long way! Please also let us know if your pet is reactive with people or other animals. If your pup is a bit grumpy, we’ll stick to quiet streets on our walks!
A typical day
We will always prioritize your animals routines and favorite activities, whether that’s walks, the dog park, or just playing tug in the house! Play and enrichment is so important for their health and well-being, and I am more than happy to provide it in the way that best suits your individual needs. Everything can be tailored to your little one’s personality and interests!

I work full time for a research lab in Longwood, but my job is hybrid and allows for plenty of flexibility! Johnny works primarily from home at the moment. We can almost always guarantee that there will be someone around for your pet 24/7!
