Pet care experience
Both Trevor and Emma have grown up with pets and have been responsible for them from a young age. In high school Emma volunteered at our local vet clinic (Bellevue Animal Hospital) and shadowed one of the Veterinarians there for 3 years. This gave her lots of experience with pets of all kinds and personalities at all ages. We understand that every pet has different comforts with people and touch and are very receptive to your guidance on how to care for your pet - you know them best!

Emma loves animals and grew up with dogs. She has always been very attentive to her dogs walking and caring for them. She was interested in becoming a Veterinarian and volunteered at the Veterinarian during her high school years. She is very responsible and pays a great deal of attention to her dogs and her friends dogs, and is aware of the amount of care a dog requires. She understands the importance of pets and would take care of another owner's pet as she takes care of her own.
Emma was terrific!! She's caring and friendly and always goes the extra mile!!
Emma is a sophomore at the UoW and is very much an animal lover who has grown up caring for her own dog a 70 lb Golden Retriever named Rusty. She Interned at Bellevue Animal Hospital while in high school and learned a lot about animal health care there. Emma is responsible, careful, observant, physically strong (can hold on) and has her own transportation.

We have a fenced backyard as well as a nearby park with walking trails that we love to take our dog walking through. Our dog is a couch potato of a dog when relaxing, but gets along well with others and is always up for some play time. We also have a few separate rooms that we can use to separate pets and are able to crate if needed.

We'd love to know if your pet has any sensitivities to cats, other dogs, and people. We know every pet has their own special needs and preferences, and we're always happy to cater to the wonderful pets that come visit. Are they currently learning new tricks? If so how can we maintain their training while you are away?
A typical day
We have a wonderful trail system a 5 minute walk away from our house that spans a couple of miles. We also have a fenced in backyard with tennis balls, soccer balls (for dogs) and love to play fetch and run around with dogs. We are also runners and if your pet is too, we can take them on our runs with us!

Availability
Trevor works from home and Emma is home by 5:30 everyday she works (she sometimes has shorter work weeks) allowing us to be flexible with our schedule caring for pets. We are open to different types of care depending on what suits your needs best!
