Hello lovely human! My name is Emma and I am so excited about the possibility of hanging out with your floofer! I have lived in a pet filled household (dogs, cats, and chickens) my whole life, and have helped love and care for three pitbull mixes from puppy to old age. Friends, family, and coworkers have trusted me to care for their pets, knowing I will provide love, great care, silliness, and a whole lot of fun for their furry friends! I am trustworthy, responsible, attentive, and love long outdoors walks in nature, especially with dogs (or outdoor adventure cats)!! I will care for yours like my own, and rest assured you will get regular updates and pictures from me for each walk, drop in, or stay.

Emma did a wonderful job walking our dog, Frida, for the past few weeks. We could definitely tell that Frida was in a overall happier mood having these scheduled walks on days we were out of the house at work. Emma has a warm and friendly personality, and our dog was instantly at ease with her, asking for all the belly scratches. Emma dealt with our lockbox and alarm system flawlessly and kept our home safe and secure. We’re looking forward to booking her for more walks, and highly recommend Emma for all other pet owners looking for a stellar walker!

I always strive to give your fluff baby a comfortable, safe, and fun visit, whether it be on a walk or on an overnight stay. I am very detail oriented and can follow any routines you have in place, making sure your pet feels comfy and cared for! I also have great situational awareness and experience walking strong breeds such as pitbull mixes. I am incredibly responsible and have experience with complicated routines and pet dynamics. In my childhood home, my dogs and cats do not get along, so we have many gates and routines in place to make sure they do not interact and everyone stays safe. So no worries if you’ve got some funky pet relationships going on! I can’t wait to meet and play with your furry friends!

A typical day
I love to play games, go for long walks and hikes, explore, and of course, spend lots of time snuggling. Whether your pet is a mountain climbing, super sniffin adventurer, or a homebody who just wants to snuggle and play hide and seek (I’ve stayed with a dog who literally knew how to play hide and seek and it was awesome), I am the perfect loving companion!

Availability
I am currently in between seasonal positions with the National Park Service (in the summers I am a Park Ranger Interpreter, and this summer I will be at Mount Rainier starting in May!) so I have plenty of time to hang out, play with, and walk your furry friends. I am available for walks (including longer hikes if your pup is a fellow outdoors enthusiast) and for house sitting at your place. I am a huge pet lover, and with my seasonal lifestyle I am not able to get pets of my own, so I have tons of love to give! House sitting info: If you are booking me for a house sit, I start at 5 pm the night you book and will stay until 10 am on the last day. If you need additional care earlier than 5 pm on the first day or later than 10 am on the last day I request that you please book an additional drop-in or message me and we can chat!
