Pet care experience
I have 4 years experience dog sitting for others in home as well as the dog staying with me along with years of living with dogs throughout childhood and now adulthood! I have two dogs, a 30lbs mixed breed and 100lbs shepherd so I’m comfortable will all sizes and breeds. I’m familiar with high energy and low energy dogs and do my best to accommodate any needs. My small guy takes medication for congenital hip dysplasia so health and comfort of pets is top priority.

Emma was so great! My boys can definitely be a handful and they're on multiple medications she handled everything they threw at her amazingly. She even kept my picky eater going while I was gone which is always difficult. I could not recommend her enough!
We’ve had Emma house/pet sit for our dog several times and every time she has been great. She’s very responsive and sends plenty of updates and photos. Pete always seems to be well taken care of with Emma.
5/5 stars! Emma was awesome with our two high energy and attention-demanding pups :-) We got lots of pictures and videos and had no doubt the dogs were happy and safe. Can’t wait to book her again!

My two boys are constantly being trained to be their best. We use positive reinforcement with minimal negative reinforcement such as taking toys away and treat away when play is too rough. We also use kennels to give our dogs safe spaces to retreat to in the event they are overwhelmed to prevent acting out. With regular vet visits and proper diet and nutrition out pets are well stimulated and ensured to their health. We do not have a yard but are near multiple pet friend parks as well as having access to the Urbana dog park (dogs must be fully vaccinated to be brought). Both our dogs are leash trained and non-reactive on walks which means when walking your pet with mine, I can give my full focus to your furry friend!

1.Is the dog up to date on vaccines 2. Is the dog reactive (e.g., on walks, dogs or people passing by the window, etc) and are they aggressive when they see other dogs (this won’t make me say no to you but is important to know!) 3. Does the dog play well with other dogs/can it share toys 4. Is it crate trained 5. Does the dog need to be walked alone 6. Diet
A typical day
Long hour or more walks, trips to the park such as hessel park and playing in the water. Hiking in state and in Indiana. Lots of training be it for behavior or for fun! Games of fetch, tug, and hiding and finding treats all over the house and at the park! Walks on the quad so our boys can get admired by the students and your dogs can too!

Availability
For the summer time I am gone no longer than 3 hours at a time and have a significant other who has also worked with dogs in the past who can allow potty breaks and walks and play time! We take an hour walk in the morning and again at night with lots of play and short walks in between. This can be tailored to your pets energy level but without fail, I also set my schedule to allow this. Weekends I am home 24 hours.
