Pet care experience
I love all animals and can’t wait to have the opportunity to spend time with your treasured pet! I’ve cared for dogs since I was born; growing up I had a yellow lab, german shepherd, and english retriever. I like to say I was raised by my dogs, they cared for me just as much as I cared for them. As for recent experience, since moving to California my brother routinely asks me to puppy sit his dog in San Francisco and I fostered an (evil) cat through covid.

Emma is a great caretaker for our pup. Whether is a walk or a longer stay out of town she goes out of her way to ensure Walter is well cared for. Long walks through the park or the beach, brushing his hair, Emma knows what it takes to make a dog feel comfortable when mom and dad can’t be around.
Emma is an incredibly responsible person and has taken care of my dog on numerous occasions including when I had surgery. I also know she grew up with dogs, loves animals, and knows what it takes to be an attentive and responsible dog care giver. My dog adores her because she knows that she will be loved and cared for when she is with Emma. Emma will take excellent care of your pet .

A typical day
Park excursions, hikes, fetch, and tug-of-war are my personal favorites! Restring and cuddles are a must, if the dogs are open to it. It all depends on the personality of the dog!

Availability
Pets take the priority! I work a full-time job in Petaluma (10 minutes from my house) and I work in person on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Wednesday and Friday I work from home. My schedule is flexible and I’m able to return home during the day if needed.
