Hello! My name is Emma, and I'm currently pursuing a degree in Photography at St. Edward's University. I was born and raised in Galveston, Texas, where I grew up with three dogs! Being an only child, I formed a very close bond with our dogs (Lucky, Lucy, & Lily :). I would spend afternoons playing with them in our backyard and would often walk Lily to the beach because she loved playing in the water. I was raised by my grandparents, who relied on me to take care of our dogs as they got older and were unable to give them all the attention they needed. I looked forward to giving them baths, feeding them daily, surprising them with new toys, and honestly didn't even mind picking up the poop! This is when I knew I had discovered my passion for animal care. I started walking dogs around the neighborhood for my friends and elderly people that weren't able to do it consistently. I truly love meeting new dogs and getting to know their quirks and personalities. When I came to Austin for college, I fell in love with how pet friendly many of the outdoor sites are. Because I currently don't have any pets of my own, I want to be of service to those who need the help!
