I have grown up with a variety of different pets over the years so have lots of hand on experience. Having a variety of dogs and cats at home so I am comfortable and confident with looking after animals. I have previously looked after cats/dogs sat for extended amount of time for family friends so have experience and believe I would do a great job looking after your pet understanding the responsibility and trust that is needed.

Emma was a fantastic cat sitter for my two cats. They’re both a bit shy and Charlie warmed right up to her allowing Emma to play with him and give him some attention every day! She also made good progress
Emma did a wonderful job looking after our two cats! She was reliable and left the place immaculate. Her updates and photos helped us feel confident that the cats were safe and happy whilst we were away. Even our very shy kitty felt comfortable with her by the end! I will definitely try to hire Emma again :)
My dog loves spending time with Emma! Rain or shine she reliably takes her for lovely walks and gives her lots of love and attention.
Emma has been amazing with my dog taking care of her over the last two years. She is caring, attentive, prompt and responsible. I particularly appreciate her taking Milah on lovely long walks. Highly recommended!

I am open to taking care of dogs/cats even if it has certain needs (for example post surgery or if the pet needs certain medication - not a problem very happy to help out!) I am open minded and to happy care of your pets.
A typical day
I love taking long dog walks as well as encouraging play - for example fetch or tug of war - happy to imitate what the owners would typically do to help dog with adjusting (if it’s for a couple days or a longer extended period of time) . The pets physical and mental care is very important. I love to walk near rivers/big open green spaces where there is plenty of space as well as beautiful views. If it’s a home cat I have had plenty for experience on Rover as well as outside of it - will follow instructions/the routine that suits the cat (or dog) best.

Availability
I have a flexible commitment doing a discipleships year at my church so have days and evenings available. This is a unique opportunity to look after animals (which I am currently unable to do in the place I am living in). I am very quick and organised so will get back to you ASAP on availability etc. I have taken care of a variety of dogs, cats and even a tortoise!
