I am a Registered Nurse, working full time in the surgical ICU. In addition, I’m a full time animal lover with two cats and a dog. I’ve owned 3 dogs in my personal life time, and have loved and cherished each one. Now that I am an adult and have my own house, I have one dog and two kitties. We adopted all of our animals from the shelter, and we wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. I look forward to treating your animals with as much love and attention as I give my own. Whether it be bathing, boarding, walking, house visits - let me know and I’m your gal ☺️

As someone who values his dogs as if they were his own kin, I am always extremely apprehensive to let someone care for my dogs while I am away. With that being said, I have no hesitation whatsoever in letting Emma dogsit for any short or extended period of time. Emma, as a dog owner of 18 years and counting, knows just how to make your pup(s) feel comfortable and loved, for she will not overlook any of their needs. With Emma, you do not only assure that your dogs will get the proper care but also that they will be loved wholeheartedly while you are away. Don't believe me? Just ask her to show you her phone screensaver, which she changes year round to different dogs dressed for the holidays.

I have a fenced in yard, and a small dog pool to cool the puppies off in the summer. The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath so I can accommodate at least 2 additional dogs a day. However, if the dog is very low energy or senior, they staying at my house would not work due to my high energy dog. But I can always come to your house for some good puppy or kitty time.

The name, age, gender, and any anxieties/triggers the dog may have. Or preferences even! With toys/activities. I do not have any breed or age preferences when it comes to house sitting, but senior or low energy dogs would now vibe well with my high energy pup.
A typical day
We can go on walks around my dog friendly neighborhood or play fetch in my fenced in backyard. I also would like to jog with the dogs if possible, and give them treats that are approved by the owners. I'll make sure that they get plenty of belly rubs and attention that they need and deserve!! I play tug of war and fetch with my own dog all the time, and am an avid supporter of letting dogs go at their own pace for walks.

Availability
When it comes to scheduling, I work every other weekend, so messaging me for availability works best. But as a nurse working in the hospital, I only work three 12 hour shifts a week. Which gives me 4 days, to shower your pets with love. If you’re able to contact me in advance, that helps the most so I can switch shifts with people in order to accommodate whatever schedule you need. However, I understand when last minute needs arise, and will do whatever I can to try to help!
