*Currently only have weekend and evening availability* I have a love for all animals, but especially dogs! I grew up around cats and big dogs (so they're my favorite). I currently own a beautiful Plott Hound-mix named Olive. I have experience caring for all kinds--from Pomeranians to Boxers and German Shepherds (and everything in between). I have been walking and caring for dogs with Wag! for a few years, but have about 15 years of experience working with dogs (mostly sitting for long periods of time during the summer, many repeat customers). I have a lot of experience caring for and walking puppies, so my patience knows no bounds, and I've cleaned every mess imaginable. Open communication and flexibility are really important to me in all areas of life--especially when taking care of people's pets! My availability until the end of the summer is wide open, but is subject to change after August--I am a middle school teacher. In the summer, I do not have many commitments since I am a teacher. I am an early riser, so mornings are great for me. Because I have my own dog, I am not available for house sitting at this time, but I love drop-in visits. My availability will change to weekends only in August. I do live in an apartment, and so if a client were to ask for a boarding service, I would invite them to see the place first to assess if it would be a good fit. My dog is very shy, but is sweet and cuddly around other animals. In a client’s home, I like to make sure I know rules about furniture, food, etc. before beginning a service. If a mess or another situation occurs, I am quick on my feet and reach out to the pet parent to let them know what happened after everyone is safe and taken care of.
