Pet care experience
Hello! A little bit about me. I have two dogs myself, plus a foster dog that we are now his permanent home, and a one year old cat. Talon, our foster to own, is a malamute husky mix. Olive Oyl and Popeye are Siberian huskies. I have had dogs and cats since I was a child and love all breeds and personalities. We usually have always had a pitbull in the mix… (RIP) I have dog sat for various friends before either overnight at our place or at theirs and was recommended to venture out to help neighbors in my community that may need a pet walker or someone to check in and spoil them for a bit. I just recently relocated from La Pine to Portland, OR and am excited to meet new fur clients and of course you! I really like to be able to do meet and greets to make sure I’m a good fit for your important part of your family.

Emma was a fantastic dog walker for us while we were visiting Sunriver! She was reliable, communicative, flexible, and great with our three dogs. She sent updates and pictures, which was great. I would highly recommend Emma!

This is a long overdue review to thank Emma for being the best for our sweet boy, Bud. He is a big ol' love bug with pretty serious separation anxiety so we are really particular with who we leave him with. Emma gives us such peace of mind because she treats him like one of her own sweet pups. She gives him treats, long walks and so much love. She also sends us plenty of pics and updates during her stay which we LOVE. Thanks Emma for being our go to when we need someone to stay with Buddy. We appreciate you so much!
Emma took the best care of our sweet boy. I especially loved the updates and pics that showed how calm and relaxed he was in her excellent care!

As everyone takes care of their dogs differently with training and/or routines, I am very consistent in how things should be done for each dog per the owners instructions. (Separation at feeding times if known aggression when dog sitting others in my home in the past, keeping to each dog’s diet per the owners requests, appropriate dog toys or chews or behavior, etc.) Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your fur babies in your absence.

I have limited experience with senior dogs but as we had our dog of 13 years pass last year I made sure he got his medicine and made him comfortable in his last days. Just like to know of any allergies or age related issues and medications if necessary to administer during my time with your pet.
A typical day
I’m an active hiker so love to take dogs with me on outdoor adventures and walks. I enjoy playing with all dogs however they like to play, fetch, running around the yard, cuddling, tug of war… you name it.
