Pet care experience
I have two dogs and a cat that I have helped care for for over 10 years but I do not live with them now. My neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to petsit and walk their pets for them. I am also a Pet Care Expert at Pet Valu and have been for over 2 years now. I am very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience working with animals.

Emma took such wonderful care of Marshall. Her availability was extremely flexible, and her communication was great. She gave frequent updates and pictures of his adventure. I felt at ease knowing he was getting the best of care. Would absolutely recommend Emma to take care of any furry four legged friends.

I live in a great neighborhood, near great places for lots of walking! I also live with two other roommates who have also cared for pets in the past and have experience with pet sitting. I enjoy going for walks so it would be no problem taking your pet with me. As well as I have no problem with dogs or cats on furniture or the bed, as well as dogs who are crate trained.

It is important for me to know the behaviour of your dog and if your dog has any special requirements. As well as I would like to know how your dog is with other people and other dogs for when I take them for walks. It is nice to know what your pet care routine is aswell (ex: feeding times, how many walks, etc) so that I can do my best to match it!
A typical day
I love taking them for walks and I live in a good area for walking with tons of smells and space! I enjoy walking to Point Pleasant and the neighborhood I live in is safe and friendly for neighborhood walks! Your dog will never feel alone as I am home a lot and will give them all the attention the need!

Availability
I am a student at Dalhousie Univeristy and I work part-time at Pet Valu. When I am out of the house, other than for work, I am not gone for more than 1-2 hours at a time. I have two lovely roommates who are usually home when I am not, so your pet will always have someone to keep them company.
