Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life from spending most of my childhood on a dairy farm. I have owned dogs and cats over the years and I now have a house cat in Blackheath. I am a kennel volunteer at Battersea Dogs Home and therefore have worked with a whole variety of dogs of any size and temperament. Collies are my absolute after growing up with my dog, Charlie who passed away last year at a grand age of 14. Whilst the coronavirus pandemic has happened, the volunteering has been put on hold and unfortunately I have been made redundant from my full time job, so I see this as my chance to follow my love for dogs! As I have a cat at home, unfortunately I am not able to provide any dog boarding, but I am able to provide walking, sitting & drop ins. I have a car so able to drive to your home (within distance specified). Over the next coming months- when we are able to- I am looking to attend a pet first aid course, and dog behavioural courses that support positive reinforcement.

There is no one who cares more for dogs than Emma P. She loved both of my dogs so well, an elderly corgi named Nick who she treated with such kindness and gentleness, as well as my 2 year old German Shepherd named Ginger who is afraid of anything and anybody, except for Emma. Emma showed Ginger patience and care and won her trust, leading to Ginger letting Emma pet her, which literally no one other than Ginger’s mom and dad are able to do. Emma will show your pet love and care on their walks and pet sitting. With Emma, you can trust your dog is in great hands.
