Hello, it's nice to meet you! I absolutely adore animals, and often prefer to hangout with them most of the time which is why I chose to make a job out of it. I've had animals my whole life, but I've been taking care of other peoples animals since I was 13 years old. At first I just took care of my neighbors chickens, then their friends dogs and horses, then their friends until next thing I new I had a little part time job. I have experience with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, and some livestock such as goats and cows. I am a recent Carroll College graduate with a bachelors in English Literature. Apart from my love of literature, I personally own two of my own horses, and of course a little corgi that I take everywhere with me! So even on my down time, I'm always surrounded by my furry friends and a few good books. In 2019, I had the opportunity to start work at a doggy daycare, SkyHi, in my hometown, Helena, where I worked for 4 years. It was at SkyHi where I learned more about dog handling, behavior, training, and overall group management. At SkyHi I often had playgroups of 16-18 dogs where I learned how to not only handle the chaos but have some fun, too! I also had the opportunity to take some equine and canine anthrozoology classes at Carroll College where I learned even more about animal behavior and management. Basically anything that involves animals, I'm your girl ;) ! Since I do live by myself, I usually always have my corgi, Winter, with me wherever I go. Winter grew up coming to doggy-daycare, puppy classes, the barn, dorm rooms, and just about anywhere else you can think of with me. She's very friendly and loves playing with all types of different dogs. She's my little partner in crime! If your dogs are chill with having her around and would be comfortable with letting her stay the night for house sitting, let me know! If not, I can make other arrangements for her which is no big deal at all! Just let me know when you make your reservation. I do charge by the day, as long as your small pack or dogs and cats aren't too crazy, I can handle it and don't charge for additional animals! If you have elderly dogs, puppies, cats, or an animal that requires a lot more attention, I will adjust my rates accordingly. Just let me know what your animals need and we can figure it out! I'm a busy gal so if I don't respond to a message right away, don't worry! When I'm with your dogs, they are my top priority, but on other days if you message me, I'm probably taking care of someone else's furry friends or I'm at the barn with my horses and I'm not on my phone that much! I'll respond to you as soon as I'm able!
