Hi! I’m Emma, a current PhD student in English with a HUGE love of dogs. I have experience working with both small and large breed dogs, and I particularly enjoy dog walking!

My little one came back super happy and worn out!
When I was gone for the holidays, Emma took care of my disabled cat. She gave him attention, scooped litter, made sure he didn’t eat any of my plants, and gave him his weekly eye drops. She’s also a very attentive dog parent. Only in extreme circumstances does she skip her daily walk with her dog Dolly. She is very patient and good with animals.
We love having Emma walk our dog! She is great with communication and flexible with our schedule
Emma did a wonderful job walking, feeding and giving medication to our 2 senior dogs! I would definitely book her again in the future!

I am a very enthusiastic dog person, so when I am in a room with dogs, it is impossible for me to focus on anything else! I am very attentive to body language, and have in the past been able to identify when something was wrong, and caught potential illness early on. I am particularly attentive to keeping foreign objects out of the way (socks!, plants!), and being hyper vigilant about keeping the door closed! (I’ve had some experience with runners)

I enjoy working with poodles and chihuahuas! I've spent time a lot of time with senior dogs, and I really love them. If there are any commands you are working on, I would love to continue exercising those!
A typical day
I am a HUGE walker, and love to take my own dog, Dolly, on long walks throughout the week and the day. If it's rainy or too cold, we will go for a shorter walk and I will supplement that with some brain stimulating activity, like a lick mat, or a treat roll. Lately we have been going to the dog park, where Dolly has made some new friends.

I am a PhD student at Vanderbilt University, so I have a very atypical schedule! My daily work is mostly remote, and I make my own schedule so can easily work within you and your pup’s scheduling needs.
