Pet care experience
From a young age I loved animals, and I was always given the responsibility of walking, feeding, and cleaning up after family pets. My friends and family members frequently ask me for help caring for their animals when they are out of town or working long hours. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for new clients for the past two summers while home from school. I currently own a British Shorthair cat who is about a year old, and I have also done many drop in visits for cat owners in the past.

I've always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds and have treated them with respect and love whether they are mine or someone else's pet. I understand that pets are family members and that they should be treated as such when being looked after. Safety and trust is huge when leaving your pet in someone else's care and I always ensure so by following directions closely, being attentive, communicative, and aware.

If your pet doesn't like other animals I'd love to know just so that I can be sure to distance them on walks. I'd also like to know how long your pet usually walks for and what type of attention they need.
A typical day
I like to be outside and take long walks, especially anywhere by the water. The beach has always been one of my favorite spots for bringing dogs, and I love teaching new tricks and playing fetch as well :)

I am currently a senior at UNCW, and looking to fill some time productively by continuing to dog sit during the school year. My schedule is pretty flexible as of right now, and I have no problem waking up early or staying up late if needed.
