Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog in my life. I got my dog at age five. He is still around, now 14 years old and still healthy and happy. I know all aspects of dog care, as I spent most my days all of my childhood with my dog. He wasn‘t the easiest dog to train and gave me input on different training approaches. Since moving to the Netherlands as international student I‘ve been missing a dog in my life and would love to talk your dogs on walks or sit them! I also spend some time in Costa Rica at an animal rescue center, at which I helped care for a motherless litter of puppies, by helping with their vaccinations and other healthcare.

I have seen first-hand that she can take care dogs of all ages. But beyond that, I have seen how loving, compassionate, and devoted she is towards her dog. She in fact misses her dog dearly (a fact that she has mentioned way too many times to count!). Above all, Emma is a kind-hearted and compassionate person who deeply cares about animals. As a dog owner, I would trust him to Emma in a hearbeat (he is in fact quite fond of her). So I hope you will give her a shot too! You won't regret it.

My dog goes on walks 3-4 times a day in a forest that is close to my house. We are fortunate enough to have a garden, in which my dog gets to spend time whenever the weather is appropriate. I know how to recognise signs of uncomfort or other emotions in dogs and know what dogs are able to eat and what not. At home, my dog eats a hypoallergenic canned food, as he is intolerant to several foods. He has never had any health concerns.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs I need to be aware of. Please also let me know if your dog tends to show aggressive behaviour on walks or has any fear we may encounter. This way I can avoid them beforehand!
A typical day
I love long walks, so I‘d love to walk around Haagse Bos or other forests in The Hague. I also love the beach, so I‘d love to take your dog for a beach walk. I‘d love to even sit in a park for a while with your dog or go to a specific dog park to meet your dog‘s friends.

I am a university student who is currently unemployed, so I have a lot of free time to spend with your pet! I love long walks and getting to know different areas of The Hague!
